Anisimova played the full game with dominating control of the high-stakes Wimbledon quarter-final in which she scored 6-1 in the first set.She was up 5-2 in the second set from the very first. During which Pavlyuchenkova tried her best to resist Anisimova, saving a few match points in forcing a unbelievable tiebreak. The American fought remarkably five tiebreak points before converting her Final master stroke in last match point to gain her winning position 6-1, 7-6(9).

After failing to qualify at Wimbledon in 2024, Anisimova took the best decision to take a mental health break and this smart move paid her off. Her Wimbledon campaign seals her comeback, the first American woman into the Semi-Finals since Serena Williams in 2019, which is a big deal for her as well as US reputation.
